The building reveals itself
A towering masterpiece —
part zen temple,
part kaleidoscopic cathedral.
Curved surfaces, shimmering with light. Humanoid robots of all shapes walking gracefully through its halls. The building hums with energy, full of people preparing for their own vacations.
Inside, eager travelers move with fear and excitement. Some returnees walk out wide-eyed and serene — their faces holding an almost ethereal glow, as if touched by something beyond understanding.

The building hums with energy

Majestic, calm, unmistakably robotic.
The check-in clerk. Part lion, part machine. "Journey 999… Why?" Their eyes don't judge. They've seen everyone who ever came through.
Departing travelers
Eyes full of fire, hearts full of doubt.
Everyone carries the same look. Ready and terrified. Not sure which one is winning. Uriel carries it too. So did every hero before him.
Returning travelers
Wide-eyed, serene, changed forever.
Those coming back walk differently. Something rearranged inside them. They speak quietly. They smile at nothing. They know something now.
